Reservations Policy for Daily Dining Service

In order to offer personable service, it is necessary for reservations to be made well in advance.  Seating is by availability only.  The General Manager will make every effort to accommodate the membership.

Reservation Policy for Special Events

A reservation policy assists the Club management team to properly organize each event with regard to scheduling, staffing, ordering of food and beverages, and the preparation and set up for the event.  The result for the Club will be better financial management of our social functions.  The benefit for the membership will be greater satisfaction.

A Special Event at Seawanhaka is an event that is not a regular lunch or dinner service.  Reservations and cancellations for Special Events are encouraged to be made by noon on the day preceding the event.

Special Food Orders

The Chef is happy to accommodate special diets and food restrictions whenever possible.  Special requests should be placed a day in advance.  If you have food allergies or other food/health issues, please notify your server.

Closing Hours

Food orders may be sent to the kitchen until 9:00 p.m. during weekday service and Saturday nights, and until 10:00 p.m. Friday nights.

Private Parties

The Membership is encouraged to make arrangements for using the Model Room, the Taft Room or the Dining Room for private luncheons, cocktail parties, dinner parties and receptions as the Club schedule permits by contacting the General Manager at (516) 922-6200.
