2016 Cruising Events Schedule
On Saturday, May 28th, we will have our (soon to be) traditional Race to Black Rock Yacht Club, which was elected as a winning event by all who attended last year. Race up on Saturday; back on Sunday; three to four hours, depending on wind.

There will be bi-weekly raft-ups on the SCYC Cruising Class moorings in Cold Spring Harbor or Oyster Bay on Friday or Saturday nights. You do not need to make reservations; just show up and party until you fall asleep or return to your mooring at SCYC.

The Annual Cruise is scheduled for July 23-30th. The course and venues will be discussed at the monthly raft-ups during the winter months.

For those racers in the fleet, we have the Alfred Roosevelt Regatta on May 14th, the Annual Club Rendezvous on July 9-10th, the Dooley Roosevelt Regatta with our Sagamore friends on August 6th, and the Fall Regatta on September 4th.

This year, we are going to initiate a raft-up somewhere on the Hudson River in late September/October. Surprise visits to various exciting attractions will be announced!

Anyone who owns, has owned or dreams of owning a cruising boat is welcome to join the SCYC Cruising Class. Please respond to Cruising@seawanhaka.org to be placed on an exclusive list for announcements, parties and prizes.
