 High Performance Dinghy Sailing |
Seawanhaka will hold a high performance dinghy series open to adult members and non-members with self rescuing dinghies having Portsmouth yardstick handicaps of 97 or faster (minimum Laser) boats. Starts will be pursuit race format using the Portsmouth Handicap. There will be multiple races per day. There will be a series of 4 regattas, June 12, July 31, Aug 28 and Sept 25 and weekly tune up races. This will be excellent practice for the Heineken High Performance Dinghy Open in October. Additionally, we will host a ‘Sail a Dinghy Day” on June 11. So bring your Lasers, Vanguards, your parents 505, Thistle or FD that hangs in the garage. Parents bring your kids and your dink for some fun racing and Salty Dog afterward.
