  • Location of the floats are on both sides of the Service Dock.
  • Dinghies will be assigned spaces with numbers on deck of the float. Please call the Dockmaster for assigned spot.
  • Dinghies are limited to 10.5’ in length and an engine max 20 hp.
  • The annual dinghy charge for 2020 only is $300 per season or, pro rata thereof, if used for less than a full season, charged at $75 dollars per month for any full or partial month used.
  • The dinghy float season is from 2nd week in April through the first week of November.
  • Dinghies are not to left in the water unattended and/or made fast to any of the Club’s, docks overnight unless permission is secured in advance from the Dockmaster, Will Peters, or Capt. Satory. Any dinghies left unattended in the water do so at their own risk for all purposes.

Dinghies found filled with water add weight to the float and, if deemed by B/Y personnel to create a danger, will be pumped out and charged to the Owner/Member accordingly.
  • If assistance is required launching or hauling the dinghy onto the float, the launch driver or the dock hand should be asked for help.
  • SCYC is not responsible for any theft or damage incurred by the dinghy, motor, or other equipment while on the floats.
  • All dinghies on the float must be kept secured with at least a bow line.
